Welcome to Brain Symphony

Hello, you seeker of wisdom and truth. Somehow you found your way to my

BRAIN SYMPHONY website. “Hmm....sounds interesting”, you might be thinking. “Show me more.”

I’m going to assume that you are a life-long learner or someone whom I call smart and curious. Perhaps you’re wondering if I have something to offer you that justifies sharing your valuable time here, no matter your level of development.

[WARNING: metaphor ahead.]

Most everyone knows that a symphony orchestra is a group of musicians in different sections (strings, brass, woodwinds and percussion) led by a conductor whose output is synchronized to produce HARMONY: music that is pleasing to the ear.

BRAIN SYMPHONY defines HARMONY as "inner balance" and "well-being."

How do you achieve this state? BRAIN SYMPHONY offers you a mixture of brain science, practical tools and tips and humor to elevate your self-awareness and provide critical solutions and results.

And what is the key? CREATIVITY.

Creativity is not just making music or art. We are all born with the impulse to create; just watch any five-year-old child!

Examples of “EVERYDAY CREATIVITY”:

       • Problem-solving in the workplace.

       • Improvising a recipe in the kitchen.

       • Negotiating with teenagers. (BTW: Good luck with that.)

BRAIN SYMPHONY can help you maximize these skills and create harmony in your life, but there is another, more dissonant reason why maximizing your creativity is vitally important.

Life can be stressful and overwhelming. The TEMPO of life is increasingly getting faster - by some measures 10 times faster than even 10 years ago. Technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and other external forces are battling for your attention. The critical skills necessary for you to survive and move into the future have radically changed. Now you need new and different creativity skills to remain balanced, both in your personal life and in the workplace.

Enter BRAIN SYMPHONY: brain-based tools and TRANSPOSITION techniques (methods of change) that give you more control over your life and help you make healthy choices.

Creativity Through Humor

A rabbi, an astronaut and an Eskimo walk into a bar.

The bartender said, "Hey, is this some kind of a JOKE?"

One of the sub-components of creativity is humor. Laughing can help control levels of the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain, similar to an antidepressant and limits the release of hormones like cortisol that can wear down your cardiovascular, metabolic, and immune systems.

Enjoyment of humor can also be physically and emotionally relaxing. Plus it is just tons of fun!

Below I share with you my personal collection of fastidiously curated items of amusement. Click on image to enlarge.
